Patricia Pulles

After having worked for the Centraal Museum, SKOR, Ellen de Bruijne Projects, Sonsbeek and as a City Curator for the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam Patricia left for Naples in 2008 to start her own project; Il Ventre di Napoli. She has collaborated with the PAN in Naples and the Fondazione Morra. Patricia contributues as an independant professional curator in all kinds of ways to the contemporary art climate in Naples. She also worked for the gallery Studio Trisorio on the Artecinema festival and assisted the Neapolitan photographer Raffaela Mariniello on her solo show in the Villa Pignatelli, Casa della Fotografia in Naples.

Next to the artists' projects on this website, the 'heart' or literary the 'stomach' of Naples hosts the Color Project. For this project three artists are invited to make a wall painting on three different public schools. The project would like to change in this way the perspective on and of the school and bring light and color. The curators are convinced that art can contribute in her way to the "educazione civica" and can bring the right energy to construct a healthy relation between citizen and society. Jan van der Ploeg en Jeroen Koolhaas were the first artists to come to Naples with a contribution of the Dutch Embassy in Rome. The paint is donated by Sikkens Italy. At this moment we look for further financing.
